We are living amidst times of great change and purification on Planet Earth! Systems are collapsing, climate change is happening, political and cultural chaos is rampant, and we witness personal and collective tragedies daily. Our response to these challenges depends on our ability to access inner and outer resources for support and guidance. This training is a powerful way to discover our true self, gather our allies, strengthen our resilience, and launch ourselves into the next phase of our life.
The ancient practices and teachings of shamanism are incredible gifts that are available to help us feel more grounded, connected, empowered and hopeful. We are indebted to the indigenous cultures of Earth who have passed on this wisdom. This Shamanic Training is a call to action for those who are ready to take the next step on their journey, to discover more of their authentic self, and to align more deeply with your Soul’s wise and true path. In these training weekends, you will journey to the realms of the mystical and magical for wisdom, power, and healing. You will discover your Animal Allies, Spirit Guides and find lost parts of self. You will listen and remember the beat of the drum, the fires of transformation, the lodges of purification, the callings of the Ancestors. On powerful and sacred land, you will connect more deeply with Mother Earth, Nature Spirits, the Elements and Star Beings. Join us as we come together as Tribe with other healers, teachers and Truth Seekers for support and inspiration.
This training has been life-changing for many of those who have chosen to partake. It has helped participants make needed changes in themselves and their lives, and has fostered lasting connections. I am delighted to announce my 12th year of offering Shamanic Training and am excited by the personal and collective healing that it brings.
This training consists of six weekends, April 17-19, May 29-31, June 26-28, August 7-9, September 18-20, October 23-25. Participating in the training means committing to all the weekends. See Registration details below.
Overview
This training consists of 6 weekends, Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, each with a different focus. They are mostly experiential and include background material and follow-up. There are 5 sessions per weekend: Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
We begin with Shamanic Journeying, Medicine Wheel Teachings, learning the Ceremony of Calling In the Directions, and setting goals and intentions with a Transformational Fire Ceremony. We then explore Power Animals, learn how to retrieve them for ourselves and others, make masks and trance dance to embody them. Energy Healing comes next, learning about Chakras and the Light Body, how to do shamanic extractions and diagnosis, Cleansing and Protection do tribal healings and Earth Healing. We progress to Ancestral Healing, finding out who are ancestors were, investigating the beliefs and patterns we took on from our lineages, and using Psychodrama and a Siberian Fire Ceremony to transform the wounds and harvest the gifts of our ancestry. We then immerse ourselves in Mother Earth and do intentional solo time in nature and end with the powerful purification of the sweat lodge.
Each weekend we spend some time in nature and do at least one shamanic drum journey. Having shed old skins and gathered more power, we emerge from the training cleansed, renewed and more passionate and authentic than ever!
Logistics:
We begin each weekend begin with dinner on Friday and end with lunch Sunday. Commitment to the training means coming to all the weekends and participating wholeheartedly. The training will be held at New Spring Farm in Peru, Vermont which is a beautiful self-sustaining farm of 150 acres nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains abutting the National Forest. There is a lovely workshop space and a variety of sacred sites on the land including a Medicine Wheel, Stone Fire Circle, Meditation Hut, and Tipi.
Cost:
The total cost for the 6 weekend training is $3,300, which includes the training fee and three meals per weekend (Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch). This fee does not include lodging. A $550 deposit will hold your space, and the balance is due March 15. Payment plans may be arranged. Payment can be made via Venmo @cathy-pedevillano or check.
