The Sanctuary

Sacred Sites on the Land that Surrounds Us

We have several sacred sites at New Spring Farm, which have been developed to honor indigenous traditions from around the world and provide you with ways to deepen your connection to the Earth, as well as to receive guidance, inspiration, and insight.

Meditation Shelter

Overlooking the spring-fed Moss Brook River, our meditation shelter is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the presence of nature.

Nature Wisdom Walk

Walk with me on the land, in harmony with all things as our wise ancestors once did. Listen with reverent awareness to the nature wisdom teachers, animal spirit guides, and the 4 elements. Reestablish your connection to the circle of life that holds us all. Entrain your heartbeat to the rhythm of Mother.

Tipi

Our tipi is a space for sacred gatherings and ceremonies. The Tipi teaches us lessons of hope, ultimate protection, control flaps, love, and faith.

Stone Fire Circle

Join in a circle around a heart-warming fire and create life-long connections and bonds. Bask in the light of the night skies, as they reveal magnificent stars and constellations. Enjoy magical moments in the great outdoors, as we dance and sing, giving honor the flames of the sacred fire circle.

Labyrinth

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that represents wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. It looks like a maze but is not. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has no dead-ends. You cannot get lost. You just follow the path to the center and out again. You walk a labyrinth to learn its lessons. The labyrinth symbolizes a transformative journey to your own center and back out into the world. Labyrinths occur in all cultures and have long been used as tools for meditation, centering, and healing. Labyrinths bring people together on the common path of life.

Native American Medicine Wheel

Take a walk around our sacred medicine wheel. Set your intentions and anchor your prayers into the Earth. Explore the ancient wisdom of the 4 Elements of water, air, earth and fire, and 4 directions during a Sacred Medicine wheel ceremony of personal healing and intention. Receive healing and deepen your connection to nature.
