Chair Yoga is a form of yoga that modifies traditional yoga poses so they can be done while seated.  This makes Yoga accessible to individuals who may find standard yoga poses challenging.  The chair is also used to add support for standing poses.  Chair Yoga is a practice that can improve flexibility, muscle tone and mental well-being.

About Linda: Linda Metcalfe, founder of Passages2Wellness, LLC, is a retired educator with over 30 years of experience. Linda is a Certified Mindful Schools Program Graduate and 200 Level Certified Yoga Teacher. She has been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and teaching Yoga for 10 years. Linda believes that Yoga and Meditation are key elements of a holistic wellness lifestyle that can cultivate a deeper peace of mind. She believes that we need to rewire and change our thinking patterns of negative self-talk, which tends to block our happiness and success. Linda’s goal is to help guide and mentor her students, enabling them to find their passage to wholeness in mind & body. Through the practice of Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness she believes this can be achieved. When Linda is not practicing Yoga she enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
