Together\, we’ll explore what is available in your body right now\, cultivating curiosity\, kindness\, and trust in your lived experience. \nYou’ll learn how to find the sweet spot in your practice: where effort is balanced with ease\, where poses are not too much and not too little\, and where the pace is neither too fast nor too slow. Through gentle exploration\, you’ll discover that your practice is rich with options—offering a variety of opportunities to move with care\, listen deeply\, and create greater ease and resilience in your body. \nKripalu Gentle Yoga is a meditation-deepening practice. Swami Kripalu taught\, “Meditation is integral to yoga . . . If there is no meditation\, it cannot be called yoga.” In this immersion\, yoga becomes a living meditation—one that invites you to witness your inner experience while moving\, breathing\, and resting with awareness. This approach supports practitioners in all seasons of life and across all levels of flexibility and strength\, offering compassion\, encouragement\, and respect for individual needs. \nIn these classes you will: \nExplore Kripalu Gentle Yoga as a meditation-deepening practice. \n\nCultivate awareness of your inner landscape as a place of refuge and insight.\nRe-establish healing connections within your body.\nExperience pathways to renewed vitality and sparkling aliveness.\nReturn to daily life with a clearer sense of what is possible in your yoga practice.\nConnect with the rich lineage of Kripalu Yoga as a practice of compassion\, encouragement\, and being fully yourself.\nThis immersive experience offers a spacious\, supportive environment to rediscover yoga as a lifelong companion—one that meets you with wisdom\, gentleness\, and possibility.\n\n  \nCassie Halstead is a professional Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)\, RYT 500\, and YCEP\, with over 1\,000 hours of training at the esteemed Kripalu School of Yoga Therapy.  Her focus is teaching the ancient insights of yoga with evidence-based protocols to relieve pain\, reduce stress and cultivate ease in the body.  Cassie leads with authenticity and accessibility creating an inclusive\, brave space for students to explore sensations\, feelings\, emotions\, and connection to their own inner source of healing and wisdom.  Her classes are mindful\, meditative sessions infused with the tools of Yoga Therapy to bring you fully into the present moment through deep connection with the multidimensional layers of your being.  Ayurvedic joint freeing\, Somatics\, Mudra\, and guided imagery are offered with the intention to build resilience within your nervous system\, while also guiding you to experience and embody core qualities essential for finding well-being\, peace and healing.  Cassie has a boutique private yoga therapeutics practice in beautiful Peru\, Vermont.  She is also Kripalu Teaching Assisant \, Kripalu Mentor and teaches Kripalu yoga classes & workshops.

Raised by a military father who valued fitness\, she grew up playing in boys’ baseball and soccer teams with her brothers\, running track\, marathons\, competing in outrigger canoe races\, cheering\, dancing\, and understands the commitment needed for a healthy\, active lifestyle.   \nGina’s journey to becoming a certified Pilates instructor was a transformative one\, sparked by a major car accident. The accident left her with significant injuries requiring three back-to-back surgeries. During her recovery\, she discovered Pilates’ healing benefits and decided to leave her successful private banking career in Los Angeles to train intensively with a master trainer whose philosophy is grounded and based on the Stott Pilates method. \nNow in Vermont\, she shares her love for Pilates\, weaving in the ‘Aloha spirit’ from her Hawaiian homeland which emphasizes unity\, harmony\, and kindness\, encouraging genuine connections enabling individuals to not only build physical strength but also to connect with their inner selves and find balance through the mind-body connection. \nWhen not in studio\, she spends her time renovating a 200+ year old farmhouse with her husband. Both are passionate about preservation and the arts and plan to use their barns as a community gathering space and future artist in residence retreat to inspire and support emerging artists and creative talent.
